This is our Brother In-Law. Essentially he's the one that had converted us from camping to Rving. When we were first married we camped in a tent and we only went once a season. Around the same time he had aquired an older model 8' Bon Air. He did some improvements to it and they rv'ed in it for a season or two.
Not more than three seasons ago him and his wife landed an incredible deal on a mint 1999 Coleman Mesa by: Fleetwood. He got one heck of a deal as the original owner had some warranty work done just before deciding to sell it. Anyhow, a couple seasons ago he asks me to go to the Rv show with him. Well, that sparked the ember of interest.
Shortly after that show I was introduced to the Rv Trader and other classified rags that just fuelled an evolving obsession with what I would formerly refer to as 'cheating'. Seemed like for nearly a year that's all we discussed.
My Brother In-law drove me to Armprior,Ontario that fateful day that we found Lil' Dippa. It was a mad scramble that was completely unplanned and totally spontaneous as we sat in the parking lot of Canadian Tire in Brockville,Ontario purusing the "isell" listings. He kept that fire of intent and interest fueled as we searched for our first popup. He paid for igniting that fever though, we were constantly calling him at almost all hours and that's not to mention all the units we had him check out. In the end he was a good sport and was glad we made the transition however, reluctant we were at first. So thanks for creating the monster in me that is only subdued when I sit down under my awning admiring my handywork.
The Givans enjoying the good life only a Coleman camping family can.
