Pinky was a great friend and Sindy collector....She died on 1st October 2007, alone, on her sofa, at home, waiting for an ambulance to take her to the hospital for Dialasis. Pinky had Diabetese. Due to the shortage of local facilities, Pinky's 'slot' for her sessions was in the evening, she often didn't get back home until midnight, exhausted, after hours in the hospital.
I am asking eveyone that reads this, to donate a pound, every month, by direct debit, to the diabetese foundation in the UK. I guess I've 'lost' a few folk now eh ! Ha Ha....It's just one pound, once a month. Just look at these figures...
