+ Aislyn was born at 9:08 a.m. on Friday, March 24. She weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 191/2 inches long. Right now her big hobbies are sleeping, and trying to suck on her hand.
+ At the two week checkup she had gained a pound! She is 7lbs 10 oz now!
+ Started smiling at four weeks.. but have yet to get a picture. She can push up with her legs now and can get up on her elbows to look around. Mommy and Daddy had their wedding this weekend, and she was cranky! She's 6 weeks now and drinking 6 oz in most of her bottles.
+ Dr. Says she has colic :(. She cries alot.
+ At her two month appointment she was 11 pounds 10 oz and in the 75th percentile for both. Big girl!
+ May 31,2006- rolled over for the first time and went swimming (and did not like it one bit)
+ 2 1/2 months. Aislyn is sick and on anti-biotics. She weighs 12ibs 11oz. Big girl. The Dr. says she may be anemic. She has to take a vitamin supplement for it now.
+ July 14, 2006- At 4a.m. Aislyn rolled from her back to her front for the very first time. You go girl!
+ July 25 2006, we went for her 4 month checkup! She was 16ibs, 22 inches i think. Tall and skinny. The Dr. was very impressed at her sitting up on her own.
+ August: got two teeth,ate solids, and started crawling!
+ September: Learned to go from her belly to sitting up, and to pull herself up from sitting to standing.
+ September more: At her 6 month appointment she was 15lbs, 26 inches. She got 4 shots :(. She survived though.
+ December: Started walking. Only 8 months, woo hoo! But now she's into EVERYTHING, and faster then ever.
+ December: Got her 3rd and 4th teeth!
+ February- She loves to read now. She can clap and wave, and she can throw a ball. She's walking very very well too. Aislyn babble's all the time too.
+ April-May- Weighed 19 pounds at her one year appointment. She has learned to drag me places to show me what she wants, like cookies or outside. She is a great ball roller now too. She seems to understand more and more every day. She loves going outside and will crawl into her stoller to let me know she is ready to go!
+ August 07'- Its crazy how fast she learns things. She walks, forward and backward, and runs, and she can say a whole bunch of words, and knows a few names.
She knows the words Mommy, Daddy, Jay, Bree, Auntie, Anthony, outside, all done, more, hungry, eat, drink, Hi, Where go?, and blankie. I'm sure there are more, but thoes are the ones that come to mind right now.
She is still in her mommy stage. She wants all mommy all the time, but now she gets upset when other people go to mommy too. She puts things in her mouth less, knows how to let me know what she wants, and can bring me things like her diaper, or her cup when i ask her too.
+ February 08'- Aislyn is such a big girl now. She can practicaly have a conversation with you, she knows her ABC's mostly (well, the song) and can count to three. She knows how to take her clothes off all on her own, and can put on and take off one of her pairs of shoes, sometimes her socks, and sometimes her pants. She's also sleeping in a big girl bed alot of nights, and sitting at the table instead of in her high chair. Hopefully next time I write here there will be something about going on the POTTY
Her favorite things to do are read, and color, and she loves to go out and visit her friends and family. Her favorite shows are Diego and Spongebob.
+ March- My baby girl is two! She had a great little party, with almost all of her favorite people. Still no good potty news.
