NEW Stuff Jan / feb 2009
Early July 08 - Kyosho SeaWind. Brilliant boat - see new page.

End June 08 - Sea Dolphin from e-bay. Thought that I might try my hand at yachts. Rebuild has been interesting & rewarding so far.

June 2008 - another boat from E-bay. This time it is an Aerokits Sea Commander. I am taking pictures & videos of the whole 'restoration' (well, 'fixing-up' anyway). see the new page.

May 2008 - loads of updates & new pics & videos. Have put all of the pages associated with restoring the big crashtender on one (very long) page to make navigation easier. New electric aeroplane Hobbyzone Super cub - see new page. 'Mystery Boat' from ebay - engine giving me hastle. Ran Sea queen for the first time in a year.

January 2008 - having a bit of a clear out - decided to concentrate on the planes for a while, the helicopters and Kyosho 4WD car are being sold on e-bay - expect some people will get some great buys - but that's how it goes.

Jan 2008. Bought a model Spitfire (aeroplane) from e-bay. Won't fly it for a while, but having great fun fixing it up. See new page.
This site has been up for a while now & is great fun to maintain & I hope interesting and informative to those who read it (I know a lot of people do – as the site gives me statistics – like number of visitors etc).

The main focus of the site in the first place was the   Aerokits Crash Tender – from around the 1960’s / 70’s. The reason I started the site was to help others do the research to get one of these brilliant models in to the water.

I have a number of other hobbies – which I seem to cycle round on a periodic basis – and these inevitably have ended up on the site – from model aeroplanes through to the Hornby model train set and Meccano will also appear at some point! The common theme seem to be miniature (except for the Spitfire car) and electrical or internal combustion engine movement.

I hope you enjoy the site – I’m not particularly an expert in anything, but am always happy to give an opinion. I really like getting feedback on the site – I am still new to this game (of writing a website) – and am thoroughly enjoying it.

All the best,

Pete
