Have you ever been told that you're too young to know what love is? I hate that....I got told that so many times by so many people when I fell in love with Donavan that it drove me insane. That was almost 4 years ago! And guess what, even though it has been on and off (due to me moving back and forth all the time) we are still together and happier than ever....Personally, I think that means that you are NEVER too young to fall in love. You just have to make sure it is the right person. Love is a very powerful thing, & if you truly have it, you can conquer even the toughest of times.
I mean, look at us. We met when I was about 13 & when I first layed eyes on him, I hated him with a passion....No joke! Then less than a week later, we were talking, and a few weeks after that, we were dating....& not even a month after that, I told him I loved him....& I really felt it was true. Even though it was early, it just felt soo right. About 6-7 months after that, my mother got a divorce from my ex-step father and I found out we were moving to Pueblo, Colorado, 6 hours away!!! I never thought I was going to move back, let alone see him again, so we decided to break up...:(
About half a year or more later, ma and her bf broke up and we moved to Norton, Kansas...The town where Donavan lived. We were both so excited. We got back together and then found out about a month after that, that mom and I were moving, yet again....but only an hour and a half away this time, so Donavan and I decided to stay together and work through that. We couldn't bare to break up again... Well less then a month after I moved, Donavan and I moved in together with my father down here in Garden City and we are expecting our first baby....
One hell of a journey eh???
So next time you think you are in love with someone and you are sure you want them to be in your life forever, don't listen to people, no matter who they are, when they tell you that you are too young to know what love is. Maybe, like us, you will prove them wrong!
