Hey there...just thought I'd blog again and let you know about all the new stuff on paper-chase!
Firstly, new layout again! I like it; the pictures really blend well with the background. This is because I experimented with colourizing things - hopefully it's turned out well and you like it. However, it is blue again, and so I promise my next layout will be a different colour!...once my PSP starts working again. I've named this current layout "The Girl From Ipanema"...simply because I've been listening to the song recently and I really quite like it.
I've also added more icons which are great for Instant Messaging display pics and more.
And myself...well, recently I was in a competition called "Youth Speaks", which is a contest between different schools. Each team consists of three people who talk about a subject chosen by the team. The 1st speaker talks for 2 minutes, the 2nd for 6 and the last for 2. I entered last year too - talking about the Cult of Celebrity and how the job description of a celeb has changed, talking about how fame can be achieved through "Big Brother" and more. We came 2nd. This year the same trio entered again talking about British culture and what sets us apart from other nations (I'm British, for those of you who don't know). We came 2nd. Again. I was a bit ticked off because the winners didn't deserve it. Maybe I'm being biased, who knows, it's just they were less about good speaking and good content and more about jazz hands and jokes. But that's life!
So, I'll sign off now, and I hope everyone has a good Easter and all the rest of it!

Hello Again...
Hey...sorry for not blogging enough. I only really blog every so often to let you guys know about all my recent updates, rather than having loads of little blogs telling you that I added an icon or something!
As you can see, new layout! I think it's pretty good. It is of Mary Kate [or] Ashley Olsen (I dunno which!) I like the way I layered my brushes and the way I colourized the picture. I hope you like it!
I also made a new tutorial called rainbow effect. I discovered this effect myself, though I'm sure others have come up with it before. I think you will find it very interesting. It is a tutorial for PSP and similar programs. It can be found under Content > HTML Codes and Tutorials > Rainbow Effect.
Also, I have added loads of new icons under random, and they're really cool. I made one of them! (It's of a masquerade mask). The others - credit to whoever made them. Lastly, I have added FIVE new videos in the Other section of the "My Vids" page (also under Other on the main navigation!) They're called Bodypopping and Robot, Breakdancing Kid, Panda Sneeze, Star Wars Kid and Where The Hell is Matt?

Hey guys! Obviously, I wanted to say to you all HAPPY NEW YEAR! and also I hope that you all had a very merry Christmas.
I had a really great Christmas myself; I got some new clothes, loads of DVDs and a new computer screen (which is also a that?!
Also, as you can see I have finally changed my homepage layout! I really like it; I see it as very classy, vintage and kinda chic. Obviously it's got it's tiny little flaws but so does every layout, right? It took me AGES to make because Paint Shop Pro kept acting like a right arse and it wasn't saving the layout properly. I then tried Image Mapping but that just didn't work. Anyway, despite all my nagging, I hope you like this layout! OH YEAH, before this layout I tried an Eva Green layout (a corner layout that is fixed to the top left hand of the screen, like my Christina Aguilera layout I used to have). Anyway, I made such a mess of it! It was really scrappy, so that layout lasted about a day and I hope nobody saw it. It's so rubbish I probably won't put it on my "Previous Layouts" page.
I'm actually typing this at half past five in the morning right now. Since my body clock is so mixed up because of New Year's Eve I've had an all-nighter tonight. Not a second of sleep, because I'm just so not tired because of course I slept in today! Grr! It's been good though because otherwise this layout wouldn't be up at all.

New Layout!
Hey there! I know it's been a while since I last blogged but I've been working hard on my updates! As you can see I have a new homepage layout. I love the grungy brushes I used and how I layered them but most of all I love the person I have chosen. She is called Tiiu Kuik and is an awesome model. I got the pictures of a site called avant-garde fashion photography and the set where this images are from is fantastic. Check it out for yourself!
I am also quite proud of the side panel on the homepage where site info and more is on. I have extended the amount of top affiliates and they have a big area of their own on my layout! I hope you like my changes.
Once again, please sign my guestbook! I must sound so whiny now but I really love receiving messages from different site owners/friends so I have feedback. I might set up an email account for my site (like paper-chase@hotmail.com) or something like that so people can ask questions etc. I haven't done so yet but I'm considering it. Anyone Out there?!
Hey...I'm just here to say where is everyone? My site used to be really popular but now I'm not getting many hits at all, despite my constant updates. I would really appreciate it if you signed my guestbook please. I have changed the layout from my Ashley Tisdale one. I really liked how simple yet elegant it was but I wanted something different. I really like this Christina Aguilera layout because it's a compilation of loads of different things; I have used the Torn Paper effect, used some really great brushes and more. I have also used a really nice text for the title of the layout called "OLHO DE BOI".
I have plans to buy my own domain where there is no host (like piczo etc). I would be able to do more things and I would probably called it alistairdesign.co.uk. I prefer .com but it is more expensive. It would be dedicated to you and would have loads of graphics and tutorials all made by me. I think it is the next step up from Piczo/Freewebs.
So, one more reminder to sign my guestbook! I really like to receive comments, so it would be great if you could check out this site and drop a note. Thanks!
Just Blogging...
Hello! Last night me and my family went to see Blood Brothers (The Musical) in Hull New Theater last night. It was absolutely phenomenal! The ending was particularly amazing. The story is set in Liverpool and is about twins who are separated at birth - one who stays with the birth mother, poor and in debt, the other for the woman she works for who is rich. They find each other at 7, unaware of their link and become "blood brothers" as they find out they are born on the same day. It follows the superstition of if two separated twins ever find out the secret then they die immediately. And sadly enough this actually happens! It is a really powerful piece by Willy Russel. What was really awesome is the fact the Anthony Costa played Mickey (one of the twins)!!! If you don't know who he is then he used to be one of the guys from Blue! I would have shown you some photos but it doesn't allow photography or video-recording.

The [Grand?] Re - Opening!
Hey! Sorry for keeping paper-chase closed for this long - I've really been working hard over half term to make my site more professional. I am using Iframe for the first time now and I think it is quite successful! I hope it works well for you visitors. I am very proud of this layout! It is of Ashley Tisdale. I like how it is quite simple, clean and minimalist. I hope you like it!
I have also just started to make my own Pngs for my layouts and for yours. I really like my layout at the moment, as it is quite simple (and less is more, right?) I got the brushes of a great site. Click here so you can download them. You can only use them on PSP though. Sorry to everyone else!
