He’s the camp baby, but Matt has come a long way since bungeeing his way into the Aussie jungle.
We were worried the nervous singer wouldn’t even make it that far, as he peered petrified out of the helicopter door prior to completing his jump.
But Matt proved us all wrong, and has gone on to achieve further greatness in the camp.
He was instrumental in the rescue of Malandra, who was left hanging in the jungle treetops waiting for fellow campers to bring her down.
We knew Matt didn’t like heights, but this time he rose to the challenge and was visibly chuffed as he shimmied confidently along the high wire.
Then Matt took on the responsibility of being camp president, and weathered Jan’s continual whining and Lauren’s irritating cheek pinching with considerable patience.
However, Matt’s getting a bit tired of being treated as the camp little-‘un. So far he’s saved his rants for the Bush Telegraph, but we reckon it might not be long before the singer comes of age and tells the others what he really thinks!
